It is amazing what several days, better yet several hours can mean for Mother Nature. The image below was the scene last week in Northern Virginia. Mother Nature brought us snow on multiple days last week, and then followed it up on January 28th with some freezing icy rain. The temperatures never came above freezing, so all of the precipitation was never able to melt. Then on January 29th, Northern Virginians woke up  to the sun finally shining. The image above is the weather today. The temperature started out brisk, and quickly rose into the 70s. All of the past precipitation quickly melted away, and the frigid weather of last week has all but been forgotten. Everyone saying how much they hated Mother Nature last week, are now in love.
